You gain the following benefits:

Instrument Proficiency: You gain proficiency with one 🛠️Musical Instrument of your choice. Alternatively, you gain an expertise die for one Musical Instrument you are already proficient in.

Visual Casting: There are many ways to undertake a visual performance whether through illustration, illusion magic, or legerdemain. Whenever you cast a bard spell with Somatic components, you can conceal the casting of the spell completely, if the only component is Somatic. If the Spell has other components to it, you must succeed on a DC15 Sleight of Hand check to conceal the casting of your spell.
