🦸‍♀️5e - Soldier🦸‍♀️

Soldiers are battlefield hardened Fighters, who earn their living by fighting in wars. They could be mercenaries, men-at-arms, or unlucky peasants, who were drafted into an army.

Level 3: Fluid Traditions (Flavor)

You gain proficiency in one Combat Tradition of your choice, that is available to Fighters at 1st level. When you gain this feature you can choose one of the 🤺Combat Maneuvers you know and replace it with another maneuver of the same degree or lower from your newly chosen combat tradition.

Level 3: Advanced Technique

Your ability to learn and utilize martial techniques exceeds most other warriors. You gain the following benefits:

Heightened Exertion: Your total number of Exertion increases by 2.

Potent Maneuvers: Your 🤺Maneuver Save DC increases by 1.

Level 3: Fighting Spirit

Your intensity in battle can shield you and help you strike true. As a Bonus Action on your turn, you can give yourself ADV on weapon attack rolls until the end of the current turn. When you do so, you also gain Temporary Hit Points equal to your Fighter Level.

Number of Uses: You can use this feature three times. You regain one expended use when you finish a Short Rest and you regain all expended uses of it when you finish a Long Rest.

Level 7: Consistent Skill

You are able to fight at your peak capability for longer than most other warriors. When you use your Second Wind to regain HP, you regain 2 Exertion.

Level 11: Master of Forms

Your technical skill with the weapons of war has grown, allowing you to learn exotic techniques from a variety of disciplines. Choose 2 🤺Combat Maneuvers from any Combat Tradition. Those maneuvers must be from a degree you can use. You learn both of those maneuvers and they don’t count against your maximum number of maneuvers known.

Level 15: Master of Maneuvers

You can draw on your techniques as a reflex in times of great need. Once per turn you can use one of your Maneuvers without expending Exertion.

Level 19: Combat Superiority

Your mastery with the weapons of war is near-supernatural. Once per turn when you use a maneuver, you can expend 3 exertion to use another maneuver on the attack. You still need to spend the exertion for that maneuver.
