🦸‍♀️5e - Pugulist🦸‍♀️

Pugulists are masters of unarmed combat. They can be rough and reckless street fighters, or enlightened, patient warriors, who mastered the energies of their own body.

Level 3: Lost Tradition (Flavor)

Choose a 🤺Combat Tradition you are not proficient in. You become proficient in that tradition. When you use a Combat Maneuver that requires a weapon with a particular property (such as 🗡️Finesse or 🗡️Heavy), your ⚔️Unarmed Strikes count as having that property.

Level 3: Way of the Fist

You gain the following benefits:

Critical Exertion: You regain Exertion equal to 1/2 x PB when you score a 🎲Critical Hit with an ⚔️Unarmed Strike.

Brutal Swing: When you hit a creature with an ⚔️Unarmed Strike, you can spend 1 Exertion to deal additional damage equal to your Martial Arts die.

Level 3: Wholeness of Body

You gain the ability to heal yourself. As a Bonus Action, you can roll your Martial Arts die. You regain a number of Hit Points equal to the number rolled + your WIS (minimum of 1).

Number of Uses: You can use this feature a number of times equal to your WIS (minimum of 1), and you regain all expended uses when you finish a Long Rest.

Level 7: Erupting Blow

You know the 🤺Shockwave Maneuver. This Maneuver doesn’t count against your maximum number of Maneuvers known.

Level 11: Fleet Step

When you take a Bonus Action other than Long Step, you can also use Long Step immediately after that Bonus Action, without spending any Exertion.

Level 15: Fighting Spirit

When you are reduced to 0 Hit Points but not killed outright, you can drop to 1 Hit Point instead. When you do, you gain Temporary Hit Points equal to half of your max HP, regain all your expended Exertion, and have Resistance to all damage except Force for 1 minute.

Number of Uses: Once you use this feature, you can’t use it again until you finish a Long Rest.

Level 19: Quivering Palm

You gain the ability to set up lethal vibrations in someone’s body. When you hit a creature with an ⚔️Unarmed Strike, you can spend 4 Exertion to start these imperceptible vibrations, which last for 20 days. The vibrations are harmless unless you use your Action to end them. Alternatively, when you take the ⚔️Attack action on your turn, you can forgo one of the attacks to end the vibrations. To end them, you and the target must be on the same plane of existence. When you end them, the target makes a CON Save. Failure: The Target takes 10d12 + your Adept level Force damage. Success: The Target takes half the damage.

You can have only one creature under the effect of this feature at a time. You can end the vibrations harmlessly without using an action.
